The following veterinary medicinal products were authorised or registered* by the IMB for the first time during the last calendar month.  Full details of each authorised product is available in the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) which is located in the Veterinary Medicines Listings elsewhere on this site.  SPCs for registered homeopathic veterinary medicinal products are not available.

Veterinary Medicines authorised recently

A list of products which were newly authorised by the IMB during 2011 is available here. A list of products which received a positive opinion by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) during 2011 and which may be supplied legally in Ireland without further IMB authorisation is available here. SPCs for the centrally authorised veterinary medicines are available from the EMA website (www.ema.europa.eu).

*Note that while, following IMB evaluation, conventional veterinary medicinal products are 'authorised', certain homeopathic veterinary medicinal product can be approved under applicable EU and national legislation using a simplified registration system.  Details of this system are available on the Homeopathic Medicines section of this site.
