The Irish Medicines Board (IMB) is the statutory authority in Ireland for determining applications for marketing authorisations (provided for in Article 5 of Directive 2001/82/EC, as amended) in respect of veterinary medicinal products, pursuant to the provisions of the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995 and for animal remedies, pursuant to the Animal Remedies Act, 1993.
