This guide applies to the invented of names of prescription and non-prescription medicinal products for human use, authorised by a national or mutual-recognition (MR) or decentralised procedure (DCP). The guide does not deal with invented names of products in the centralised procedure or with the presentation of the name, strength and pharmaceutical form on the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC), label or package leaflet of a product.
