IMB Working Group appoints Chairperson
The Working Group on classification of methods of supply of veterinary vaccines held its first meeting on Wednesday 28th March 2007.
Mr. P.J. O’Connor, Veterinarian, was appointed chairperson by the Group. The Working Group was established by the IMB’s Advisory Committee for Veterinary Medicines on 21st February 2007. The Group is charged with the preparation of a guidance document for the IMB on the most appropriate criteria to allocate new and existing veterinary vaccines to the various national supply routes available.
The Group committed to providing a report to the Advisory Committee for Veterinary Medicines, IMB before 27th July 2007.
The Group has now commenced its work in accordance with the Terms of Reference and has made a call for written submissions from interested parties before 3rd May 2007
