Quarter of a million counterfeit and illegal tablets & capsules detained in Ireland

The Irish Medicines Board (IMB) participated in Operation PANGEA III in conjunction with 45 countries as part of an international internet week of action which took place from 5th to 12th of October. The operation targeted the illegal online sale of counterfeit and illegal medicines to raise awareness of the health risk to patients and consumers.
