Below you will find a list of veterinary medicinal products (showing products authorised by the IMB). There are three ways to filter this list: The Search Form, A-Z Filter and Authorised/Withdrawn Switch.
The contents of the table are believed to be correct at the time of compilation. The IMB makes no representations or warranties about and disclaim all liability for the content, accuracy, completeness or suitability of the information contained in the table for any purpose whatsoever and the information is made available to the public for information purposes only. However, if you discover any errors in the information please contact vetinfo@imb.ie so that they can be rectified.
Note that the granting of the marketing authorisation to a medicine by the IMB does not necessarily mean that the product is continually on the market in Ireland; companies are free not to market all presentations of all products and to supply to the market at their own volition.
Note also that medicines authorised under the centralised authorisation system by the EU Commission are listed on the website of the European Medicines Agency and do not appear on this website. Such products have a valid authorisation and may be supplied in Ireland. Note too that under national legislation (SI no 786 of 2007), the Department of Agriculture may authorise the supply and use of certain veterinary medicines under the provisions of Regulation 16 (AR 16) e.g. medicines intended for use in clinical trials in animals as well as veterinary medicines needed for exceptional use. Authorisations for veterinary medicines which have been issued by the Department of Agriculture do not appear on this site.
