Adverse Reaction Reporting-H1N1

The IMB has provided guidance specifically for patients and members of the public on how to report an adverse reaction to a medicine used to treat or prevent the Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 flu.

It is of particular importance that serious adverse reactions should be notified promptly, including cases where an antiviral medicine is thought to have been ineffective.  In addition, information on any patients treated with antiviral medicines during pregnancy should also be notified. 

Adverse reactions may also be reported to us using the on-line Adverse Reaction Report form.

A downloadable version of the Adverse Reaction Report form is also available, which can be filled in manually and sent to the IMB by freepost.
