Product Information
In accordance with the new pharmacovigilance legislation (Directive 2010/84/EU), the IMB is increasing the level of online information on specific medicines that is available to the public, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.

In addition to the Summary of Product Characteristics document which is generally available for all medicines, the IMB has commenced, or will shortly commence, the publication of:
  • Package Leaflets
  • Public Assessment Reports
  • Risk Management Plans
Further information on each of these documents, including links to information published by the European Medicines Agency, is available using the links above or to the left.

Please note that the type of the information available for any particular medicine will be dependent on whether the medicine is licensed nationally by the IMB, through the European mutual-recognition and decentralised procedures or through the European centralised procedure. See the Licensing section of our website for further information.

National Medicines Web Portal
The IMB’s website will serve as a national medicines web portal with links to the European Medicines Agengy website which serves as the European medicines web portal. As per the new pharmacovigilance legislation, these web portals will provide for the public dissemination of information on medicinal products authorised both at a national and a European level.
