Response to public consultation on the supply of anti-parasitic veterinary medicinal products for administration to companion animals in Ireland

09 November 2010

A public call for submissions on the above was posted on the IMB website on 24 September 2009. The IMB Working Group tasked with the compilation of this report also made a call for submissions by contacting 24 potentially interested parties. Following deliberations by the Working Group and the consideration of all submissions received, the report was finalised during summer 2010. The report was considered by the IMB's Advisory Committee for Veterinary Medicines in June 2010. The Board of the IMB approved the report below at their meeting on 1 September 2010. Henceforth, the principles set out in this report will form the basis of the approach to be taken to the designation of the method of supply for companion animal antiparasitic medicines.

This document sets out the consideration of the IMB's Working Group in relation to submissions received during the course of elaboration of the report.
