Board

The Board of the IMB is appointed by the Minister for Health in accordance with the powers conferred by subsection 2 of section 7 of the Irish Medicines Board Act, 1995.

The Board typically meets six times a year and the inaugural meeting of the present Board took place on 23 February 2011.

The eight current Board members are:
